A parent

It is not surprising that today's youth are depressed when they go to college. When they were children they did not learn to make decisions and to face the consequences of their decisions. Instead, their parents make the decisions from T-ball and Little League to championship football and basketball. Or, maybe it was dance, cheer leading and theater. The children learned how to perform but within a framework set by others. When they get to college, there is no one to tell them what to do or how to do it. They are young children thrown into an adult world.
