Thanks for the article. The problem is
especially tough in Native American communities, where the isolation and
lack of limited services keep many from seeking help. Add in cultural
expectations of not naming problems/issues aloud, addictions, suicide,
and of living off the road system, and the outcomes are not surprising.
Partnering between faith communities and government can be one small
step in using all the resources available.
