GCAH Finding Aid Catalog SearchGCAH Home | Inventory Page

These inventories (also called finding aids) contain detailed descriptions of our archival research material at the General Commission on Archives and History of The United Methodist Church. If you have any questions about the material, or these inventories please feel to contact us at research@gcah.org. To see what archival material is available at the annual conference archives level you will want to link to the United Methodist Archives Connection.

From this site you can either do a structured search of our inventories, or you can browse through our agency records, manuscript collections or through the entire list.

These inventories are placed on this web site as a convenience to researchers. The purpose is to give you enough information to determine whether a visit to the Archives is warranted. It is not the policy of the Archives to make photocopies of material in the Archives without a visit from the patron first.

You can also select to search only file folder titles. This can be useful if you are looking for a very specific topic or title. The search will locate the number of collections which have that title in a folder title. Finally you can connect to the UM Archives Connection or to the Drew Univesity Methodist Library.

From the summary display you can select the title and display the entire finding aid.
