Wouldn't it be cool to see the bishops put in as much effort on the atrocity of abortion as they do on the immigration issue! But no, a bishop wouldn't be caught dead at a pro-life rally or at a demonstration at a Planned Parenthood Center but a pro-immigration rally or a pro-LGBTQ rally - whoo-hoo, let's go gang.

The trip to the wall wasn't exactly about immigration. It was a witness by bishops from around the world that in the fullness of God's promises and mercy there will be no walls to separate human beings from one another. No Berlin wall. No wall between Israel and Palestine. No border wall. No prison walls. It was a witness to the fullness of God's mercy!
